DMAE is an amazing nutrient that extends the life of cells and inhibits the cross-linking of proteins, which gives the skin a toned and firm appearance. The product uses nutrients found in bodies of water to further enhance the DMAE's effects. This cleanser is great for consumers concerned with the effects of aging. The mud in this cleanser helps to pull toxins out of the skin and wash them away. DMAE can cause a tingling sensation. Keep in mind that because this gel can separate, your packaging should include the direction to shake before use. Texture-wise, it's a viscous, mud-colored foaming gel cleanser that has great slip.

We highly recommend that you scent any product at the lowest percentage first and increase as needed. This will help you avoid thinning of the product and excessive scenting. It is easier to add more scent if you need more, but impossible to remove scent without adding more product.

Pretty good but not the best
I have been using this product for about 6 months. I am 26 with oily, acne prone skin. This cleanser is very gently and EXCELLENT at removing make-up!!! I feel like the mud aspect of the cleanser helps just a little bit with the oil (not enough for me). It will foam a little bit. It has an inherent odor which makes me think of industrial plastic packaging (I don't like it). I can not imagine what you could add that would help mask its odor. I tried lavender and it did not help. The cleanser is VERY runny which causes a large amount of waste from over-pouring. Overall, I feel that this cleanser is not the best for my skin type but would still recommend it to those who have less oily skin. This is a favorite of my 55 yo mother and 30 yo sister who has normal to dry skin! Just not my favorite.

Just got this in and put some on a small part of my hand. When I rinsed it off, I could instantly see and feel a difference in the softness. Used it on my face next and love it! Going to get my husband on it as well.

Gently cleanse and pamper at a reasonable price.
I am in my 50's, have mostly normal skin with dry spots, and live in Florida's heat and humidity which seems to make anything excess on my skin feel gummy. I LOVE this cleanser which has a lather that is more creamy than bubbly, but it does lather.
The DMAE Mud Gel Cleanser, leaves my face feeling soft and smooth, without a residue like a lotion cleanser, and truly clean, without feeling tight or dry. A perfect palate for the serums and lotions that I use. Like one of the other reviewers, I too used the Dr. Perrixxxx cleanser, which I doled out by the drop due to the cost. The DMAE Mud Gel cleanser leaves my skin feeling just as gently cleaned and pampered at a fraction of the cost.
With the winning combination of gentle effectiveness and low cost I have found only one problem and it is with my wrist, not the product.......OOPS!......poured out a bit too much.... again. I guess more than my face and neck will have to feel soft and smooth and beautiful.

GREAT CLEANERS
LOVE the whole DMAE line. This cleanser does not lather but deep cleanse without drying the skin. I had been using Dr. Perricxxxx line which was killing my budget. This product is far less expensive yet far more effective - truely a blessing for my extra-sensitive skin.

mud cleanser
I ordered several sample products from essential wholesale. I plan to do a review on everything Ive tried. With that being said I am going to give my personal profile. I am a woman of color with sensitive skin that tends to be combination.
I really like this cleanser. It feels great on the skin, creamy, smooth, and silky all in one. I feel this cleanser gets my face clean and minimizes my pores giving my skin a more refined look. Take note this cleanser does not lather but it feels so great that you dont miss the suds.
