This shampoo is Cocamidopropyl betaine-free, sulfate-free and paraben-free. Additionally, the ingredients meet Whole Foods Premium Body Care Quality Standards, and the product is Certified Vegan.

This Free & Clean Shampoo was developed to meet the growing demand for products that fit within the guidelines of the Whole Foods Premium Body Care Quality Standards. The list only allows a small number of surfactants to be used, and we chose decyl glucoside and sodium cocoamphoacetate due to their incredible safety profiles and ability to work together to create a shampoo base that can be used for all hair types.

This shampoo can be scented between .2% and 1%. We highly recommend that you initially scent the product at a lower percentage in a small sample to ensure that your essential oil or fragrance oil does not thin out the finished product. This shampoo cannot be salted to increase viscosity, so it is very important that you don't thin it out with too much scenting.
