There is a medicinal scent, mostly of tea tree oil, and I doubt that can be covered up with other EOs. After rinsing off, the scent is pleasant and fresh, orange.

I have samples of several cleansers, but this is the one I keep using. My face feels the cleanest with this one, and it has eliminated a few nasty pimples. I have combination, menopausal skin and never thought acne was my biggest problem, but I think this is going to be my everyday cleanser from now on. After all, clean skin is the goal, right? This achieves it without a host of suspicious chemicals.

I love, love, love this cleanser. I have been plagued with acne for a very long time. I have tried the really expensive stuff and the not so expensive and this cleanser is superior to all of the acne cleansers I have tried. It helps clear up my skin without irritating it. When I used proactiv it left my skin looking dull. This does the job and leaves my skin feeling bright.

My oily, sensitive, and acne prone skin is in heaven. This low foaming gel cleanser doesn't leave my skin feeling at all dry or tight and it doesn't irritate. I love it and my clients love it, too.

This cleanser is very effective in clearing up acne. I had my cousin switch from proactiv to this and she loves it. Her only complaint was the distinct scent and that it is slightly drying. But overall she's very pleased and so are my clients

I have dry, blemish-prone skin. This cleanser is extraordinary. It completely dissolves makeup, oil, and dirt, and leaves my face glowing and completely clean. After using the cleanser every day for two weeks, I noticed that my blackheads had disappeared and any pimple I had shrunk to almost nothing. The cleanser is slightly drying, which doesn't surprise me, but I just use a good moisturizer.

This cleanser really does work for acne, I have used it myself. It does have a very distinct odor. I recommend adding EO.

THIS CLEANSER IS GREAT FOR MY ACNE. I WAS USING A STORE BOUGHT (EXPENSIVE) ACNE/FACIAL CLEANSER THAT ISN'T AS GOOD AS THIS ONE. AS WITH ACNE, IT CAN BE PAINFUL AT THE BUMP SITE, THIS BREAKOUT HAS ELIMINATED THE PAIN. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL.

I ordered several sample products from essential wholesale. I plan to do a review on everything Ive tried. With that being said I am going to give my personal profile.

I am a woman of color with sensitive skin that tends to be combination.

Acne buster
This is a little miracle in a bottle. Im not sure what makes the cleanser brown, but it works. It had immediate results on several pimples that all of a sudden cropped up along my cheek from PMS. The first half of the day it seemed as if my pimples were less inflamed making my skin look calm. The second half of the day I would say my pimples looked as though they had minimized. By the third day nearly all of my blemishes were gone. The down side is I felt as if it left me a little dry. However, my skin was not itchy or flaky.

I've always joked that I have the "oiliest skin on the planet". I am 44 and it's still a problem...and my skin is also super-sensitive and can get overly-dry easily...so I end up with flaky, wrinkly and oily on the surface! This product gets rid of the excess oil but doesn't overdry. I don't wake up with oily skin in the morning and I don't have to apply powder midday like I used to. My skin looks clearer and more refined now. (I've only been using it a week!) I am 100% sold on this product! Thanks so much, EW!
