This Alpha Hydroxy Toner removes all dead skin cells and excess oil or dirt left on the skin after cleansing. It will leave your skin looking bright and refreshed. This product is slightly scented. Not for sensitive skin types.  Any skin care line is not complete without either a toner or astringent as part of the skin care regime you recommend.  It is a critical step that is often over looked.  This step closes the pores, adjusts the pH of the skin and removes any remaining cleanser or dirt from the skin.   This product is clear and has a light inherent scent. 

"Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) occur naturally in several foods and include citric acid (from citrus fruits), malic acid (from apples), tartaric acid (from grapes), lactic acid (from milk), and glycolic acid (from sugarcane). Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Skin Types: Acneic, Mature, Dry, Sun damaged, Oily, Normal and Combination. 

If you would like to add essential oils or fragrance oils to the Toner you will need to purchase Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 80, Blending Base or Polysorbate 20/80 Blend.  Essential oils or fragrance oils can be added at 1:1 by volume.  For best results add less than 1% scent to water based products.
